I didn't online in past 3 days because the digi internet cut down my internet usage. that was because my father didn't pay the last month fees i think. but then, when i called my father and asked him about the fees, he said he didn't pay because he didn't get the bill. so, i don't know who should i blame, the digi or postman. hmm.
the past 3 days..emm..well, quite okay. i went to times square with my brother, had a very delicious lunch at kenny rogers chicken, n managed to get out from campus that day, and i went to the seminar "on how to be better chemist". it's actually a career seminar that i think, i am really glad i attend that seminar. at least, i know what am i gonna do after i graduate.
the motivator is from Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM), which is Dato' Dr. Soon Ting Kueh, which is the president of that institut. IKM is one of the active organization in malaysia. i'm quite impressed actually to see all of the slide show of the event that the organization had involve. i never knew that IKM is involve in IUPAC. for those who doesn't really know about IUPAC, IUPAC is The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) serves to advance the worldwide aspects of the chemical sciences and to contribute to the application of chemistry in the service of Mankind. As a scientific, international, non-governmental and objective body, IUPAC can address many global issues involving the chemical sciences. this organization is the one that named the element around us, such as benzaldehyde, copper (II) carbonate and so on.
one thing that i get from that seminar; whoever study about chemistry in IPT in malaysia, he or she needs to have some sort of certificate to prove that he/she is a chemist. it's not a certificate actually, it's a license prove that we are a chemist. in order to get that license, we need to reach cgpa > 2.75, and working experience at least 1 year. about the working experience, i quite worry about it. of course i can easily get job at my hometown because there are many of factories there, but then what if when i ask for job, they ask me for that license? what if i just graduate that time? i don't have the answer. I'm worried because one of my friend took engineering in chemistry...sort of. she has been grad since last year. she doesn't get any job until now. she is from UTM. UTM..not uitm or other ipt in malaysia. i wonder will i ever gonna end up like her? if i will, i really gonna piss with myself
about the stated tittle, i am having the worst pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) in my life. i just laid on my bed and tried to hold the pain. i even walk to toilet to get bathe just now like a old woman because of the pain. oh god...tomorrow i have physics test. don't do this to me. =(
